As some of you may know, I uploaded a story about two years ago that was set in the Holocaust.
I set my mind to editing it a few months ago and over time I edited it to what I see as the best it can be.
This is the Prolonged Dispair of the 1940s game of Hide and Seek.

Insufficient
I am insufficient. Well, that's not my name obviously, but that's what my family has decided I am. I'm Julie. I'm 14, about to be 15 years old. I have a twin sister, Jamie. Jamie is an angel. Perfect at everything, and can do no wrong. At least in my family's eyes. And I? I am not perfect. I am a disappointment. Though they've never said that to me outright, I know that's what they truly think. The apparent "last straw" was when Jamie fucked up and I took the fall for it. Now, I'm on my way to live with some of my more distant relatives back in Italy. They're supposed to "put me back in my place." So now I get to go live with 3 Italian Capo's. Sounds like fun right? ------ What happens when Julie gets sent away? And what happens when her relatives receives a girl they had been brought to believe was a troublesome, borderline delinquent teenager, but is actually just a confused, dissociative little girl with a messed up idea of what family really means. Being Their Little Sister
It's been three years since Sophie moved in with her older brothers, it's been three years since her mother passed away and she has been growing and changing in the last three years. Sophie is about to be fifteen years old and has she get's older, she realizes how much her mother will miss out on. The future she has, her mother won't be around to see it. Her grief has reappeared after she believed she had gotten better. For Sophie's brothers, it's been three years if learning how to be the best brothers they can be for Sophie. It's been three years of nightmares and panic attacks, of fear that keeps their little sister locked in her room. It's been three years of trying to help their sister. Now, she's fifteen and dealing with a lot both on the inside and the outside. The first book is being rewritten so it will be different than what this book is about. I will get around to rewriting this book as well but not right now. I'm changing quite a few things about the original story and I will be editing Being Their Little Sister also so they match. For the moment, My Older Brothers has been taken down for editing and I will start putting the chapters back up after I've edited the chapters. I held it up and aimed it at the target. "Ma I cant do it" I cried to her. Growing up hearing and seeing guns is one thing but to actually use one is a whole other thing She rolled her eyes "Avianna Erika Vega do you want me to go call Alejandro to encourage you?" "n-no! no ill do it" I said and turned back to the target Come on Avianna you can do it, just one little thing. I tried to control my breathing and tame my trembling hands, I aligned the gun to the target...... and I pulled the trigger. From being taken from her dad and five brothers when she was just five years old. To being abused and brutally trained to kill by her step dad when she was just 7 years old. Her mom dying, causing her to runaway and change her name to not risk being found by her step dad. To her brothers finally finding her when she's fifteen and bringing her back home. Happy ending right? wrong. Shortly after finding out she has a neurological disorder called epilepsy, she is now faced with the fact that she has to find and kill her step dad AKA the man who traumatized her. yet throughout all this she still doesn't know who she is.
