Every dwarf knows magic is evil. It's an insidious weapon used by only the most depraved creatures, which is why it has been outlawed in the dwarven kingdom for centuries. Thrack Durimsson has a good life; when he isn't fighting in the militia against invaders, he's digging tunnels and drinking with his mates. However, after he and several other dwarven warriors are cursed with magical powers, a new threat comes from within the caves that he has bled and killed to protect.
