Charming Charlie {A Doctor Who Fanfic}

Charlotte Delorane lead a happy life, a good family, excellent friends, did well with school work, and was on her way to becoming the woman she wanted to be. That is until the Time War ruined any chance she had at possible happiness. In a fit of panic and desperation, her father sent her away in her grandfather's old Tardis which left her stranded on the planet Earth.

Alone for a hundred years, Charlotte taught herself how to fly her Tardis and attempt to get back to her family, hoping that maybe, just maybe, she could save them or at the very least, die with them. However, by the time she manages to figure out how to fly her ship, the Time War is long over and she's left on Earth with no possible way of ever getting back to her planet and with the sad reality that she's stranded alone forever.

Of course, alone is what she would be had she not met the Doctor and his companion, Rose Tyler.
