When the war began, the world went into lock-down. Secrets were being hidden, and it was better that way. For everyone. Or that's what he told himself. Towns and cities were secluded, with walls built to keep them safe from the outside world. All connections were cut off, and each and every area was left alone. Without food, without rain, without electricity. Suddenly it didn't seem so safe inside. Slowly, the food ran out and Area #101 fell to the ground.
