Madaline a 16 year old girl just lost her best friend to cancer and she just wants to die herself. She can't stand seeing everyone happy when her life is falling apart at the seams. She keeps seeing her friend Robert but he's dead how can that be? She keeps thinking of suicide and trying to work up the courage to kill herself but never can. Nobody seems to realize the way she feels or they just don't care whichever doesn't matter, to her they are both basically the same thing. Madaline keeps reliving the moments but it isn't enough to keep her from hoping she can see him again soon.

He replied. 14-year old, Kayla Grace. Everyone knows her name. No, she's not the popular one. To everyone she is a waste of time and doesn't matter in any part of the world. All Kayla wants to do is fit it and be well liked. When she comes across Jackson Limkie, her life will take a drastic change. Then, something occurs that will change not only Kayla's life, but everyone else's. Kayla ends up in a coma after a tragic accident that did not occur in a car. Now that she is at home and back to school everything is too much for her to handle. Kayla tries to commit suicide and then is forced to move out of her house. It's all a roller coaster from there.
