The Alternate Journey
Author's Notes: This is an alternate ending, or an alternate story to The Unexpected Journey, the Prince Harry Fan Fic. This is what WOULD have happened had Harry not gone after Maddie at the conclusion of Chapter 95, if they had not reconciled. I thought it might be fun to play with that option too! A few things to keep in mind. First, and probably most importantly, The Unexpected Journey will continue on with them reunited. While Harry IS in this story, he is NOT a Romantic Lead. This story begins when Harry breaks up with Maddie after the Kidnapping attempt but in THIS story, he does not go after her. They do genuinely break up. And this story follows Maddie. I do not necessarily intend on reuniting them in this story. He will be in the story, because he was a very big part of her life. I also need you to make a few assumptions with me here in order to go down this "rabbit hole" and try something a little different. One, Harry went to a very dark place when the kidnapping attempt happened in the story; a dark place that truly snapped something inside of him and made him push Maddie through the door. Second, though Ella does probably exist in this story line, she does not have as big of a role. If you could assume for me that she was in Bendal with Maddie in the beginning, that she visited London for a little bit, but then she left and her part of the story faded out. She is still a friend of Maddie's but she's living in the US and her relationship with Bishop never got off the ground. Here we go.Complete
