Vanessa is a small town girl in some place called California and she doesnt know the first things about living in a fancy human world. To Vanessa,  she was a demon being hunted down becauss she had abilities no demon or devil has had for the last 1,000 years! The man however is the creator of all casters, from the Thermals to the Dreams to Balance Keepers and to the most powerful ones, Shadows and Astrals. This man wants all casters to be in balance and by that he has to kill every caster with these extra abilities. According to him, it will be a great favor to the Balance Keepers, only the Keepers dont kill others off.
