Legend has it that when the Last Kingdom was destroyed, the Queen left behind an heir--the last hope for humanity. But five hundred years have come and gone, and any of that hope is forgotten. Humans live scattered among the other races of the world, working as outsiders, refugees, or even slaves. Now, the immortal, Blaise, must make a choice...one that might restore the human kingdom to its former glory, or end it permanently.
