The Vengeance Trilogy.
A trilogy of military hard SciFi short stories, each of which stands on its own but is linked to the earlier parts. Part 1 is my attempt at writing what a battle in space might really be like. Part 2 is - well, as a student of military history, I was struck by how some things in the military life have seemed to be constant over the centuries. Part 3 is the result of trying to imagine what an infantry fire-fight might be like in the 22nd century or beyond. How does technology play into it?Hoàn thành

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Critters of Armageddon (A Smilling Critters A.U.)
Imagine playtime co. running on nuclear.. And it goes boom. Oh! And there's another competitor too.. A special little bioweapon doing, to put it simply, some tomfoolery~.. DISCLAIMER: It'll get quite deep and serious into mental wellbeing and mental health in general + a few descriptions of bodily harm and injuries so any sensitive readers be advised. This one revolves around Bubba a little more cuz I noticed how neglected the poor guy is so giving him a villain arc would sound absolutely gas. Of course everyone will get screen time but in general just saying I'm making a pinpoint in this one :3 HEADCANNONS (gonna keep it simple): Narrator - God. Catnap: 6'1", gay Dogday: 5'11", gay Bubba: 6'0", straight Hoppy: 5'7", straight Kickin: 6'2", straight Piggy: 5'9", straight Crafty: 5'5", straight Bobby: 5'6", straight Not gonna do any LGBT shit I don't really fw that. Writing fixations: Bold = thinking / screaming Sideways = explanation of surrounding / activity Underline = serious / manipulative tone
Empowered
As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.Hoàn thành

SERIES DISCONTINUED :C I wanted to write a Gally x reader story because Gally gets a lot of hate sometimes and he's underrated :/ Some of this will be my own little AU of what I believe are the sexualities of the characters, gender identities, including my own characters with LGTBQIA+ aspects, including some characters who survive. "Wow, you really are hyper today." "You said it!" You grin. You feel so much energy going through you after good nights of sleep, well. Goodnights as best as you can get. "Here, take this." He hands you something and you start turning it in your hand almost immediately after receiving it. Looking down at it curiously to see some sort of wooden turn. It's kind of like the door handles, or a rower for a fishing rod. Except it's only the handle for a fishing rod. No rod or line. So it's basically just a fidgety piece of wood. You start turning both sides, spinning it around in your hand. "Easy there." Gally chuckles. He steps closer to you, rubbing his arm up and down your back to soothe you. "You doing okay?" "Yep." You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling. When he's sure you're not too stressed out, he removes his arm from you and throws a rag over his shoulder. "Okay, stick by me. Ya hyper little bunny..." They had both been dealt enough tragedy in their short teenaged lives, more than anyone should ever have to endure. The poor guy just asked if he could help and I went all 'crazy psycho bitch' on his ass. I couldn't breath. I needed water. I needed air. Fuck why was is it so hot in here. Was it the fact that the moment his hand left my skin I felt an unbearable need to feel his touch again or was it hearing him ask if I needed help that made me feel helpless and broken once again. O Negative
Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
