Kara Harrison is seventeen and that means this summer is going to be perfect. Its the last one before year 12. To make it perfect she has signed up for a week of fun through a program set up to help those affected by a disaster that occurred followed by a week long camp.
She can't wait to see her old friends, have the time of her life and maybe even flirt with a hot leader named Nate. What she wasn't expecting was David, Cute, slightly dorky and annoying her seems his goal in life. Not to mention highly forbidden and 23. Oh yeah only a slight problem. Between meddling friends (and sisters), exotic animals and a whole lot of fun, Kara is in for one memorable and life changing summer.

[Based on a true story, however, events and characters names have been altered.]
