Will of Fire: Kakashi Hatake
Akira was born into war. The Third Great Ninja War raged for many years, and death followed it every day. Friends died, leaders were struck down, and enemies were vanquished. But not without a price. With every win came an even deeper sorrow. And Akira was witness to it all. As she grew up, she learned the meaning of hate, anger, fear, and sacrifice. But she also learned the meaning of love. And the many different ways that people show it.
Her own journey was one that she hoped would make a difference, though she didn't know how. She wanted to change the world but didn't think she had the means to. She wanted to save someone but doubted herself at every turn. At the start, she was too young to understand. As she grew older, she wished she still had that childhood ignorance.
Because as we know, war changes people. Fear shapes who we strive to be. Death changes our view of the world. And love breeds weakness and strength. But through it all, the will of fire burns on.
