Cyrus Garcia, a fifteen year old boy who lives in the lovely, quaint little town of Golden Oak, sees things. Things, that one would not normally see. A figure in a sleek black torn cloak, a creature that only he can see. That is, until he meets someone who is not of the human race, part of a newly discovered order called the Rojas, trapped inside of a marking placed on his forearm, that only Cyrus can use. Cyrus and his new ally go to a safe haven for those like him, for those who can do things others can't, for those who can possess magic and use it for their bidding. Whilst training one day, the two learn of something far more dangerous than anything they have been taught so far. They learn that the creatures aren't what is going to be dangerous, they learn that they are the ones going on the journey to stop the ancient Shikraith, a very old order of one of the most advanced, complicated magic wielders in the land, awoken to lay siege to the world, to make it theirs and take it from the human grasp.

[ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.

[DISCLAMER] The story is currently on hold until I figure things out. The story is slightly inspired off of the theme of Harry Potter, but plot and storyline is completely different. This book is fictional. Any resemblance of the events, characters, places etc. to The real life world is merely a coincidence. If you find any errors in the writing, I would love to be corrected! Missing some errors while reviewing and having mistakes is completely normal, as everyone makes mistakes :) My writing may not be the best, but I'm trying to improve. The first few chapters may not contain best writing style, my skill get better within the next chapters (especially from chapter 8) CHAPTERS EVERY WEEK!
