Cyrus Garcia, a fifteen year old boy who lives in the lovely, quaint little town of Golden Oak, sees things. Things, that one would not normally see. A figure in a sleek black torn cloak, a creature that only he can see. That is, until he meets someone who is not of the human race, part of a newly discovered order called the Rojas, trapped inside of a marking placed on his forearm, that only Cyrus can use. Cyrus and his new ally go to a safe haven for those like him, for those who can do things others can't, for those who can possess magic and use it for their bidding. Whilst training one day, the two learn of something far more dangerous than anything they have been taught so far. They learn that the creatures aren't what is going to be dangerous, they learn that they are the ones going on the journey to stop the ancient Shikraith, a very old order of one of the most advanced, complicated magic wielders in the land, awoken to lay siege to the world, to make it theirs and take it from the human grasp.

The story is about a survivor of an orc invasion, Déorhild, who comes to Eodoras to seek help from King Théoden. However, due to her strange story and backround, no one really trusts her except for Éowyn and Éomer. Also, no one is really close to her because of her forbidding personality which is a result of her childhood. But unknown to everyone else, (except those that have their suspicions) Déorhild is not who she seems. Trying to keep her true identity hidden from prying eyes, Déorhild is very secretive. Éowyn still holds herself somewhat distant, but Éomer seeks a closer relationship with Déorhild, who for awhile, turns him coldly down. When Déorhild finally realizes that she loves Éomer, it is too late, for Éomer has along with the Rohirrim been exiled from Eodoras. So Déorhild embarks on a mission, to not only revenge those of her village who died, but to find Éomer and tell him of her true feelings for him before it's too late and he's dead. Yet both Éomer and Déorhild are caught up in a event which is greater than any of them have imagined, a war in which lies the fate of all Middle Earth. BOOK ONE IN THE WICCAN SERIES Cyrus Laveau's life had never been perfect, but he always worked with what he was dealt. That included witches, pyromaniacs and human sacrifices. ... Returning to high school after being suspended for a week, Cyrus's goal was to stay under the radar. The opposite happens when on his first day back, his friend goes missing and the only one who saw the culprit was him. But how do you tell your friend's brother and the sheriff that the kidnapper was a two faced shadow creature with glowing purple eyes? As expected he immediately tells his best friend, Christian, who is expectantly skeptical until he sees first hand Cyrus's car come to life. Together the two decide to investigate not only what took their friend but a way to get them back. The situation only grows more dire when more bodies begin to pop up around town with the same symbol carved into their foreheads and the creature's attacks becoming more frequent. Admit the hallucinations, midnight skinny- dipping and breaking and entering, Cyrus discovers parts of himself he wished would have stayed buried. That he is connected to the witches that once helped to create their town over a hundred years ago and has magical powers he never knew about. It was hard enough when everyone looked at him expecting a break down or another car accident, now he had to worry about not hexing someone. The last time he checked, being a witch was not on his schedule.

The Paragon

24 parts Complete

In the Empire, wizardry is expressly outlawed. Any of those who exhibit magical powers are taken away, never to be seen again. It's been this way for over one hundred years, and there is no way to fight back against the oppressive government-you can only attempt to escape it. Nineteen-year-old Imogen Reid does just that. When wizards find they can no longer hide safely inside the Empire, they turn to the Owls to flee it. Immy, along with her twin brother Eli, and the rest of the Owls have helped countless wizards escape the continent to live a safer life in the Free Nations. Immy is nothing if not an expert on the art of running away. Her life, however, is severely disrupted when she develops strange powers-powers that should be impossible for her to have. Before she knows it, she's been whisked away by a group of people calling themselves "Redcloaks," a name Immy has only heard in legends, and being told that she is in fact their next leader. The Redcloaks claim that she has been chosen by the spirits. She is the greatest wizard of them all. She is the Paragon. And nothing has ever terrified her more.
