A Guide to Being Super
Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). One day, they crossed the line, doing a prank about Robin's dead parents. It made him mad, breaking his heart. Bringing Robin's past in a stupid joke for April's Fool wasn't funny it was just mean. Robin started to avoid his teammates, staying in his room when there wasn't any mission and fighting alone when a villain was attacking Jump City. One day, Kid Flash, Robin's biggest rival, decided to pay the Titans a visit. He wanted to upset Robin and believe me, stealing his team was the best way to achieve his goal. Will Robin be upset by Kid Flash's visit or will he give up his team and let his rival be the new leader? She ran when the troops had found her. She gave one babe to Harley Quinn and she gave the other one to Batman. Few years later, two orphan girls had different powers, hair style and color, different clothes and different sides but they had the same last super names when they come out at night or day to save or destroy the world. Brainiac had try to find these girls in years for his master plan to work he even had to push it aside because of that. Will they ever work together or fight? Will They ever know each other? Or will Brainiac find them and use them?Complete
A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it!
