A rewrite on 'the paper bag princess' by Robert Munsch. Start of the story: How could she tell the tale that way? What a dumb girl!?! I've asked her many times to explain it the right way but she never has! That annoying little princess! No wonder someone burned up her castle!

(I'm kinda embarrassed by this work, but someone asked after it, and so I posted it again. Do not blame me for my younger self's bad grammar and nonexistent plot line. Thank you.) "I do not fight it as two hands-Eva's hands- grab my ankles, pulling me under, letting the blood swallow me whole." -Val Valarie Sabine thought she had everything. A friend. An escape. A loose bar in a disguised cell. A meadow full of wildflowers, beyond the wall. Until that friend is ripped away from her in the worst way possible. Until she's locked away again, where no one can hear her. Until she swears revenge on the man that took it all- the King, her father. Rebellion is brewing. Valarie is hiding in the shadows, with a questionable prescription on reality. Renee just wants to be left alone. "I was innocent, once upon a time..."
