Time And I

53 parts Complete

Mel Snider is the girl everyone stares at as she walks down the hall. Due to her best friend being the most popular boy in school, she's used to her fair share of malicious glares and gossip surrounding her. The only reason she doesn't let it bother her is because she knows that she'll have to endure it all once she's a famous drummer in a famous rock band. Having been searching for a band for years, she still continues to practice every day. With drumming being her life, she doesn't allow time for anything except schoolwork, her two best friends, and her sister. However, being the only person in school who isn't afraid of the violent bad boy, Devon Quid, she'd been forced to bring him his schoolwork after he refused to come back to school after his suspension ended. With Mel continuously bumping into Devon (as well as finding reasons to go see him), she begins to let him into her life. But letting him into her life means making the time to be with him. After always placing drumming at the top of her list, she wonders if she should continue to focus solely on her drumming, or if it's worth it in the end to balance her time to be with someone special. Inspired by the anime's 'Say, "I Love You",' 'Kimi ni Todoke,' and 'My Little Monster.'
