Not all superheroes wear capes, and if The Joker has a say in the matter, they do not need to wear tights, either.
The Joker's having quite the time with this "becoming Batman" thing. A cape, cat ears, and tights? That's certainly not his style. He pity's Batman for dying in the most tragic way possible, really, but come on. They've got to give him something to work with.
After Batman's sudden and horrible demise, the city of Gotham is in a state of pure shock and hopelessness. Evilness and cruelties rule the streets, leaving the citizens afraid, helpless, and desperate. The Joker is unstoppable, of course, with no superhero jumping in to save the day and ruin his well devised plans.
But The Joker isn't easily defined. He's characterized as a villain, (for obvious reasons), who craves chaos and mischief. In fact, being evil is his favorite thing to do. Yet, he is only human. And when the town looks to him for help, depending on the person they fear the most, he takes full advantage of the situation.
If the city wants the Joker to step into Batman's role, they'd have to let him do things his way. After all, he's about to become perhaps the best, worst, evil superhero in all entirety.

A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! A legendary vigilante/anti-hero from the Rigby has decided to move to Gotham City and with in a week of his arrival. He has put Gotham's underworld on notice. That there's a new law in Gotham CIty. His. way of doing things are considered too old school to be used. He's dangerous with his dual ivory handled revolvers, Sharpes Buffalo Hunter rifle and his limited edition Henry and Winchester lever action rifles. But he's even more deadly with his fists and feet. But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two. Will Barbara Gordon find the mysterious gunman and be able to tell him how she feels and will he reciprocate?Terminé

A Three Jokers Orgin story. So there's been a lot of Joker in the news lately. Lots of debate about giving him an origin story. Should he have one? Should it be multiple choice? Should it be a mystery? Well I'm curious by nature. I love the origin story idea. I'm all in for anything regarding the Joker. So I have partially given my Joker a semi origin story in One Bad Day. But this is going to be a full origin story. Actually it's a 3 Joker's orgin story. It may or may not have similarities to the one in One Bad Day but not much. This will be a totally new adventure for all of us. It will be rather graphic and contain lots of sensitive topics. Be forewarned. Again, I adhere to no specific Joker personality. A new Hero in Gotham
Being a demigod was hard enough, living in a city with constant crime and the threat of being mugged all the time? I've faced worse, probably. It's not like the bat family seems to be stalking me or that there's another prophecy floating around camp which seems to be making everyone anxious and worried. At least I'm protected, mostly, from the threat of monsters trying to eat me, amd don't even get me started on the Joker. He really thinks he's the funniest guy out there, like please, I could probably beat him as fast as Batman could. ~~~~~ Cursing, gore, blood, wounds, etc etc. Y'all don't question nothing, I give you full permission to hit me over the head if I screw up my spelling. At first, it was a regular night for Bruce as he went out through the night as the dark vigilante, Batman. As time ticked by, the night grew - stranger - beneath the bat signal's light, was a note. From the Joker. Months pass before Batman is seen out on the streets again. But he's different, strange. But most importantly, what is up with his eyes? ----- In this world, Batman doesn't have a Robin. He never has. He sticks to himself; even the Justice League don't see him. No one sees Batman without a mask except Alfred. Batman is darker, already slightly twisted in the head - he's spent his whole life, fighting people like the Joker, people who don't deserve his pity. So he doesn't give then them any. He holds grudges even beyond the memory of others.
