Her mother dealt with the abuse by falling silent. Refusing to utter a single word, leaving Ophelia to fend for herself.  After she graduates high school she decides that enough is enough and leaves for Los Angeles. There she meets Luka when she accidentally stumbles into one of his fights.  Luka is everything that she is trying to run away from and yet she can't stop herself from being near him. Will Luka break down her walls? Or will he just build up new ones.
