From the outside, it seemed that Ophelia Summers had a perfect life. She was pretty, she got good grades, her family had money. Everyone was jealous of her, but if they would see what happened behind closed doors they would be anything but. Her father was verbally and physically abusive to both her and her mother. Her mother dealt with the abuse by falling silent. Refusing to utter a single word, leaving Ophelia to fend for herself.  After she graduates high school she decides that enough is enough and leaves for Los Angeles. There she meets Luka when she accidentally stumbles into one of his fights.  Luka is everything that she is trying to run away from and yet she can't stop herself from being near him. Will Luka break down her walls? Or will he just build up new ones.
