The year is 2018.
The Templars-under the guise of Abstergo Industries-have taken complete control over the world. The Assassins have lost every battle against the Templars.
Enter Jake Garrison, a 16 year old scrapper, who is well into conspiracy theories. He comes across the Assassin-Templar war in his studies and is targeted by Abstergo shortly afterwards. He is saved by Katarina Petrov, a Russian Assassin living in the underground.
