Lauren Lockwood is cousin's with Tyler Lockwood and had decided to make an unscheduled visit to Mystic Falls. 

She had traveled all her life and figured it was time to see her dear cousin, only to find he'd fallen under the family genes and had triggered the terrible werewolf curse she also shared. 

Knowing this she also predicted other supernatural creatures; especially the dreaded vampires. Those were things she was not a fan of. 

Her opinion about vampires will soon change once she meets the kind and gentle soul of Elena Gilbert and the loving, protective Caroline Forbes. 

Each girl begins to fall for the Lockwood cousin and soon battle between each other. Best friend against best friend for the love of their mortal enemy.
