Christina is a junky. Adrenaline is her drug of choice. The rush she feels at the briefest spike of danger, flooding through her veins, a better high than any synthetic, off the market drug could give her. But after a more recent brush with the high, and more importantly the cops, Chris soon finds herself stuck in a hospital for community service, between an unnecessarily hostile nurse and an unnecessarily protective sister.
Malia is a victim. She was born with Cystic Fibrosis and for lack of a better term, her life blows. It's a life filled with checkups, months of uncountable, impossibly annoying and possibly fatal illnesses, and an oxygen tank that's her BFF. And after another bout of bronchitis, Malia winds up back in the hospital, with her overbearing parents and the knowledge of the too-full transplant list weighing down her every thought.
Then these two girls meet. And as their friendship blossoms, they'll both find a strength in themselves they never knew was there, and a strength in each other they didn't know they needed.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
