Idk if this is going to work.... But ya know. If I don't like it or no one reads it I will stop. I never read the books so I am going off the basics. So feel free to absolutely insult me. I won't take hurt. Also I'm trying to make the story my own in a way- though I absolutely don't take credit for the plot, Twas not me.

enemies to lovers all ik is I rewatched tmr series being a sheep beforehand and liking Thomas the most but I have come to the realisation that newt clears. and my favourite trope is enemies to lovers but newts character makes it nearly impossible for it to be natural so I'm trying my best and we will see if this story makes it to the end depending on how long my mini hyperfixation will last. heavily inspired by the book by glademother I've already read it twice in one week but I need new substance and no other book devours like that one did so I'm just gonna fulfill my own needs like I should.

"Meg?" Thomas walked up to me, "What is it?" I still couldn't speak, my eyes only leaving the reflection of the words to look into Thomas's. I let go of my hair so that it fell back into place, covering my tattoo. Thomas nodded, almost as if I had reached out to him in his mind, but I didn't. He walked behind me, placing one of his hands on my waist as the other lightly grabbed my hair, sliding it to one side. My eyes locked on Newt now, trying to seek comfort in him before it was announced to the group what WICKED has named me. He gave me a weak smile, but I knew he was worried about me, he always worries about me. I heard Thomas trying to hold back a gasp, and felt his breath on my neck quicken. His hand around my waist tightened as if preparing to protect me after he reads the script. Then, reluctantly, he read the words out loud. ***FINAL BOOK of the Through series! Hang on tight cause it's gonna wild 😜 as always I do not own rights to any maze runner characters or plot lines from the movies or books. I also do not own the photos/videos used. Everything has its place
Thomas' new life began in a metal box lurching through an elevator shaft. Confused, scared and filled with curiosity, he thinks the boys laughing maliciously at him are going to roast him over an open fire and eat him. When that doesn't happen, he's left with too many questions about who he is and where he came from. In his heart, though, he knows that he must become a Runner. A boy who is chosen to run through their prison, a Maze, and find an escape. This is a rewrite of the Maze Runner movies. I don't really know if rewrite is the right word, but I'm using this as an opportunity to practice my writing. It'll follow the structure of the movies with minor adjustments, especially just now in the first one. Later on more adjustments will happen, I think. I also want to include Newt/Thomas in this rewrite as I find the ship cute. My writing is a bit clunky and all-over-the-place but I hope you enjoy :) Please feel free to offer constructive criticism. It will always be welcome. Also, feel free to point out any mistakes or things that don't make sense? I've also posted this on AO3 under the same name :)

The Maze Runner: Newt Fanfiction
Newt fanfiction based off the Maze Runner book. I decided to walk through basically the whole book and add in another girl. Some parts and some of the timeline I had to change so it makes more sense but the basics are still there same so it's okay. If you didn't read the book, some parts might be confusing, just a PSA. I'm working on The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure so if this gets enough reads/votes, I'll upload those as well. What are these feelings? Lust, care, sad, angry, craving and ect. Mixed emotions all over the place. what are feelings, I forgot I had those. Am I really in love or am I just trying to survive?
