Thomas' new life began in a metal box lurching through an elevator shaft. Confused, scared and filled with curiosity, he thinks the boys laughing maliciously at him are going to roast him over an open fire and eat him. When that doesn't happen, he's left with too many questions about who he is and where he came from. In his heart, though, he knows that he must become a Runner. A boy who is chosen to run through their prison, a Maze, and find an escape. This is a rewrite of the Maze Runner movies. I don't really know if rewrite is the right word, but I'm using this as an opportunity to practice my writing. It'll follow the structure of the movies with minor adjustments, especially just now in the first one. Later on more adjustments will happen, I think. I also want to include Newt/Thomas in this rewrite as I find the ship cute. My writing is a bit clunky and all-over-the-place but I hope you enjoy :) Please feel free to offer constructive criticism. enemies to lovers all ik is I rewatched tmr series being a sheep beforehand and liking Thomas the most but I have come to the realisation that newt clears. and my favourite trope is enemies to lovers but newts character makes it nearly impossible for it to be natural so I'm trying my best and we will see if this story makes it to the end depending on how long my mini hyperfixation will last. heavily inspired by the book by glademother I've already read it twice in one week but I need new substance and no other book devours like that one did so I'm just gonna fulfill my own needs like I should.
