Melodi Gray has all but given up on love. After a string of bad dates hoping to meet Mr. Right, the romantic at heart baker is ready to call off the search. After her last disastrous blind date, she is ready to forget all about dating and devote herself to making her flourishing bakery a success and maybe adopt a pet or two to keep her company.

Kaiden Andretti was a playboy in every sense of the word. When he wasn't closing million dollar deals in board room, he was wining and dining beautiful women, leaving a trail of broken hearts in his wake. Settling down was the last thing on his mind, much to his parents dismay.

Their paths cross unexpectedly after Kaiden saves Melodi's life and their attraction to each other is almost immediate. Melodi is apprehensive at first due to his past but for the first time ever, Kaiden wants to stop his player ways and commit himself to one woman. They dive head first into their love affair that seemed like it was put together by fate itself.

Not everyone is happy about their union and soon the two love birds find their relationship being tested by not only people closest to them but also by a blast from the past that's hell bent on destroying them both.
