I wrote this story for my English class and decided to post it on here to see what you guys think.

Only His (mafia romance)
He leans in, his breath ghosting over my skin, every inch of space between us collapsing. "Still pretending you have a choice?" His voice is soft, almost amused. My throat tightens, but I force the words out anyway. "I don't belong to you." A low, knowing chuckle rumbles through him. Fingers tighten around my chin, tilting my face up until I'm caught in his unyielding gaze. Cold. Calculating. "Belong?" he echoes, as if the word itself is laughable. "You exist because I allow it. You breathe because I haven't taken that from you, yet." Tears burn at the edges of my vision, but I don't dare look away. "Fight all you want," he murmurs, eyes scanning my face, his grip unshaking. "Scream, beg, break--I don't care. In the end, little one, you'll learn. Because every part of you?" His lips brush against my ear, a cruel whisper of finality. "It's already mine." __________________________________________ A meaningless prank call caused this disaster, a series of deaths and misery. And maybe it was more than a prank call... maybe it was your loved ones, the people you least expect it to be, to stab you in the back. "Run Cassy! Run Mitch!" I hear my Daddy yelling at the top of his lungs waking me up. I was always told that this day might come. But I never thought it would, I just thought my parents were crazy. I open my window and jump out hitting the ground running. I run as fast as I can, faster then I've ever ran before. My heart pounding in my ears. I make it to the tree line and stop when I hear my Mama's bloodcurdling screams. I want to run back, I want to help them. But I change my mind when I see two dark figures in the chilly night. Changed me
Time was standing annoyingly still and I think I may have forgotten how to properly breathe. "Panda you have to come sit down pacing is not going to-" pushing my hand out I stopped him from saying anything. I stopped him from confirming the knowledge that there is nothing I can do to make this better. I pulled at my hair ripping a couple of strands out in the process. I hated the white walls and fluorescent lights that adorned this place. The squeaky sound that could be heard whenever anyone walked and right now I was causing a lot of squeaking. The strong smell of disinfectant burning my nose but none of it matter right now not any of it. "Where is he?" I heard the voice and my blood immediately started to boil. "You did this" was the last thing I said before I flew and was on top of his mom hitting her wildly. So much for not liking confrontation.Complete

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete

Riley wakes up with a pounding headache and a cold shiver he cannot seem to shake. Dazed, he stares up at the white tile ceiling listening to the beeping of a heart monitor. An unfamiliar ceiling... in an unfamiliar place. With no recollection of where he's been. This story is a MAJOR work in progress. I would love to hear suggestions and feedback. I know it is VERY slow moving. It's just a super rough of a lengthy story that's been in decades of production.
