The heat of the summer brings many things. For some that includes, suntanning, beach days, ice-cream on the dock, boy watching, and endless late nights. For Aria Hall, the heat of summer means freedom of a completely different kind.
For three short months every year Aria is human, never daring to share her secret. In the three short months Aria has she spends her days hiding behind the library desk were she works, her head deep in a science novel, forever looking for the cure that will keep her human.
