What if everyone has a clock which counts the time until you meet your soulmate?
Well, no need to wonder. In a different reality, everyone who celebrates their first birthday is given a clock.
It's called the Clock of Souls.
It tells the days, minutes, hours and seconds until you meet your soulmate. It usually works the same as a clock, but heavier, more durable and doesn't run on batteries.
Many believe that it's a great way to prepare for your soulmate.
You can cut your hair or practice your killer pick-up line or perhaps, shave something that needs shaving. Besides, you'll never have to wonder if your persistent suitor is the one, right?
It stops when the two of you meet.
Simple, neat, hassle-free and less heart breaks.
Well, that's what everyone went through - except for a few unlucky ones, that is, who fate decides to play with.
Now, what if you were to meet your soulmate in the most unexpected way possible?
Hold on tight, the clock is ticking.
When one turns the age of eighteen, they stop aging until they meet their soulmate. They have a countdown timer on their wrist to tell them when that will happen. For most people it is around the time they turn eighteen, for some it is a little longer.
Matthew is one of the lucky ones who's timer is set to go off on the evening of his eighteenth birthday. His soulmate is not so lucky. It turns out that's the least of their problems, but that's alright. Gilbert will be there for Matthew, and Matthew will be there for Gilbert, however long it takes for them to overcome their problems.
