"I saw them in my mind...I think they were real, but they were like broken glass. There were 8, and none were the same...but they might have been identical. Were they the Old Lords? Have they returned to us? To free us of these wretched Chains? One stepped forward and his eyes were the Void and he said...fingertips on my mind....ugh. They're leaving us...are they coming back? Have we truly shattered out frail hope?" -Telor, the Blind Seer. Tao Yae; the Void Knight, Markuth; the Storm Speaker, Zenkusa; the Edge Incarnate, Conflux; the Time's Apostle, Tenüw; the Shaman Queen, Sven; the Chaos Meditator, Erebth; the Stream Dancer, Gilgamus; the Beast Lord, and Ignith; the Living Flame. For centuries, the people under the Immortal King Salamun have hoped for their return, to save them from the Chains of the Salamun. But these are broken gods, and shattered lords. If they are our only hope, then we are already dead.

In Whyrlsong, Chaos is fate, and the gods beneath it are its Vessels. Silvanya is among the chosen Vessels of war incarnate. At the peak of her prowess, a betrayal unfurls, forcing gods to turn against each other. Silvanya is the first to fall as she is cursed to an eternal slumber with a dagger driven to the center of her chest. And it only takes an oath-bound mortal like Aerys, to pull the dagger from her heart and have her loyalty under his whim. With a broken Vessel at his side, it is up to him whether he uses her for his own agenda or free her from her cursed shackles and let chaos lead the rest. ▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎ This story is a work in progress and will therefore be subject to changes in plotlines.
