I sprinted across the muddy earth, rain pouring down and creating a haze farther into the black of the night. I hit the tree line, hearing the guards shout at one another to see if they found me. I kept running, the scenery around me blurring as I ran faster than ever, pushing my body to do more. I leapt over fallen logs and ducking under low branches as they tore at my clothes. This is my go at a VALORANT fanfiction; this will be using a character I created (that you, reader, will be in the POV of.) I apologise if it sucks, I'm trying my best. *** Mountains, ice and snow. This was all Everest knew and understood; until a freak accident that occurred on her descent from Mount Everest completely turned her life upside down. Fearful of her sudden new abilities, she cut herself off from everyone around her, isolating herself to prevent anyone accidentally getting hurt. News reporters had shared her early discovery of her abilities to the world, even without her consent.Nobody saw her after that, and wondered where one of the greatest mountaineers of their time had disappeared to. From afar, she watched strange men in laboratory coats and armed guards take people away from her town. Family, friends, neighbours. She didn't know who these people were, or why they were doing it, but she had a solid theory. That they wanted her, and were using those close to her to draw her out of hiding. To try and control her, to kill her, she didn't know. A new organisation contacted her out of the blue after a while, offering safety and help with her new abilities. What she didn't know, was this invitation would change her life. For better or for worse, we'll find out. * Action starts to ramp up chapter 10+. The valorant protocol, an elite group of the best humanity has to offer. Consisting of humans and radiant's alike, they are the forefront of earth's defence to stop threats both in world... and out. A second universe (dubbed earth 2) has opened a portal to invade and pillage Earth 1 of all its radianite without regard for the devestation they bring, leaving earth 1 to suffer the loss of its leading energy source. Earth 2, a world in which radiants revolted and overthrew the humans. Those who were slaughtered were considered lucky to the resistance as the alternative was to be forcefully converted to radiants through a process only known by the highest of the radiants. The resistance was a group of humans (lead by commander brimstone) that fought back against the radiants but, unfortunately, they were snuffed out until all that remained was a small group consisting of 5 humans and a robot specifically made to combat the unnatural power of radiants. In an effort to stop the radiants plans of invading another dimension, this group attacked the portal site in hopes of shutting the gateway down. However... they failed. Among his fallen team, y/n glared at the leader of the radiants as he sat bleeding out in the dirt. "Look me in the eyes human. This is the last thing you'll ever see, a reminder of your failure" "..." "No final words? hmph, your choice" *BANG* _______________________________________________________ "How am I alive?" Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues. Giving the illusion that his irises were made of the bluest ice. //WARNING Will contain smut and such// !!!SHORT STORY!!!! Old from computer.

I have never felt so close and yet so far away from anything before. I could hear people yelling, they noticed I was gone. I have been locked up for so long I forgot what the forest felt like. Full of life and green. By the time someone notices they are heading the wrong way, it will be too late. My plan was to escape, run south for a bit, then circle back to my prison. As soon as they followed the scent south, I would run north. I could hear a river north, so I would run to the river then wade up stream so the scent would be lost. Find somewhere safe to cross, then take off, continuing north. My heart is pounding so hard I am afraid my captures could hear it and ruin the whole plan.

I watched closely as the blue eyes crept closer. They started to multiply as well as they started racing after me. I sprinted, my footsteps made no noise while they twitched and darted after me. Some were faster than the others. I weaved in between the trees, flashlights and crawlers were racing behind me. The sirens starting to go off. They noticed my disappearance. It was not long before I heard more steps behind me. With one look over my shoulder and through the trees, it seems that they're hunting me like dogs. My friends sprinted next to me. Shooting the ones that got too close to me. They started to hiss and make inhuman noises giving away my position. I sighed, it's gonna be a long night...

"This is a nightmare, it's only a nightmare..." I say to myself as I try to catch my breath while leaning against a tall pine tree. Only for a moment do I stay in that position until I hear a twig snap. I quickly leap away from the tree and run as fast as I can. "Wake up (Y/N)! just wake up!!!" I think to myself. "You are awake my dear..." I hear that voice. That damn voice. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" I scream. I continue to run past trees and hopping over large rocks. The mist in the air begins to get thicker as I continue this race. "Why me? out of all the people this had to happen to me!" my brain races with thoughts until my foot gets caught by a tree root sticking out of the ground. I fall hitting my head on a rock. My vision is blurry and I can feel a warm liquid begin to stream down my face. "My dear (Y/N), look what you have done to yourself. You shouldn't have tried to run away." the voice goes through my head again. I look around and see nothing but trees. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" My voice begins to grow sore from the constant running and yelling. The sound of leaves crunching comes from behind me and I whip my head around until my eyes are met with him. "My dear (Y/N), you've made quite the mess of yourself. You know you are not aloud to leave......now you'll have to be punished." The figure says without any facial expression or motion. The figure begins to walk forward towards me. I try to back away until my vision becomes black and all I can hear is static.

This is literally the worst thing I have ever written. If you're reading this you have something better to do with your time. Programs have been enslaved for five millennia and have come to believe they're machines. They kill without consequence and always do as they're told. After a mission on Earth the Finish team lose two members to a virus that's spreading through the system. It's up to twin brothers and a high school club to free the programs from their enslavement. Thing is freedom comes at a great price for everyone Jett, one of the twin brothers. I look out at the field where I first met Kiiro four years ago and saw a boy standing with his back to me. He turns slightly and I see his silhouette. "Kiiro!" I yell and run towards him. Prez and Greg run not far behind. I'm feet from the person when he vanishes and I'm suddenly pinned to the ground with my arms twisted behind me. The sun lights his face and I suddenly relize my mistake. "Your not Kiiro, who are you?" "My name's Sett." The boy with blonde hair and green eyes said.

I ran faster against the blinding snowy wind, down the street to my street. I wiped off some of the snow on my face but I saw the thins behind me. Their blue eyes and sharp teeth glowed in the light of each street lamp. They sprinted behind me, I kept hoping my house would pop up anytime now. I can't call for help because my phone is dead and its nighttime. I saw a familiar scorch mark on the sidewalk and slid into a turn. I reached for the door but, they blocked it. I backed away, one by one I saw blue eyes surround me and get closer. I looked at the picture of me and everyone before I took out my swords, I shoved it back in my pocket.
