Poppy lives in a world of shape shifters. instead of cars most people either run, fly or swim if they can. not everyone in the world are shifters, shifters are the minority. Humans are aware of shifters but they don't know where or who are shifters and don't have a clue how we came to being and The Council wants to keep it that way. but then an evil jaguar is set to bring dome to both humans and shifters by starting a war and trying to uncover shifters long secrets. Poppy is training to be a guardian because her animal is a golden eagle, one of the most powerful guardian animals ever being shifted to. and she finds unlikely help from a human boy who doesn't know her to be a shifter. he is an agent for the humans set to destroy shifters but  together they will make a great team... but will Poppy's secret finally get out to him? will their friendship survive the hate that's ingrained in both of them?
