13-year-old Eun-Chae and Yoona were the best of friends, never to be separated. That was, until the communist North Korean government invaded Seoul, South Korea's capital, in an attempt to commence their multi-step plan of converting them into a communist society as well. Chaos broke out and amidst all of it, Yoona managed to escape alive. However, Eun-Chae was left behind, fighting for her life. Now, safe in America, Yoona must fight to never forget their childish memories of frolicking in the lotus gardens of the capital and to entwine their souls once more.
