Mira is a sixteen year old girl living in the quaint town of Silver Cove, off the coast of southern Australia. The two most important people in her life are her papa, and her best friend Kai.
One night, Mira loses control of her emotions, and runs away to the beach, a mere few blocks away from her house. The night would have been cold, long and uneventful, if not for the one thing that changes everything: the shark.
It haunts Mira's dreams, replaying the events of that fateful night, and Mira is determined to make it stop. She goes off on a search for the shark, and for the one thing missing in her life: her mother.
Mira puts much at stake, but will she find what she is looking for? Or is this just disaster in the making?
