After world war 3, the whole world's population is wiped out except for a select population, atheists. A new era is born in what is today California. At the age of 17, all boys and girls must watch a video about what happened to our world, and why the civilization must be the way it is. Some watch and brush it off, but others are shocked and changed forever. If you brush it off, you stay at your home, but if you are shocked, you go to a safe house. You are sent to a home in the middle of nowhere with a person of the opposite sex to have children, and when the children are age 3, send to the people of the civilization. The people who brush it off will never have children and work for most of their life. Your fate is not your choice, it's theirs.

While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. The day of the fight, the state of distinction launched a nuke. Yet they had under estimated the power the nuke had.
