I was admiring his eyes when suddenly he pulled me in close to his body, taking hold of my face in his hands. Leaning in towards me, he placed the softest of kisses among my lips, emitting a shaky breath once he pulled away, resting his forehead on my own.
"What was that for?" My voice came
out as more of a croak, still in shock at his actions.
He turned on his heel, walking down the hallway when he faced me and called out, smiling, "Because I felt like it!"
As I watched his shadow disappear completely, I came to the realisation that he entered school today with one heart, but left with two- his and mine.
