Bonnie is dropped off at her grandparents' house in the country so her adoptive parents could have their anniversary in Hawaii. At least that is what Bonnie thinks, that IS what her adoptive father told her when he suddenly had her things packed and in the car when she woke up one cold saturday morning. She was confused as to why her adoptive mother and father would take her out of her current school in the middle of a semester so she could be taken care of by her grandparents. She has never even met them once. And if she did, she sure didn't remember them. She couldn't remember what her biological parents were like, all she knew was that they were sent to death roll when she was only a few months old. Now, 18 years later, she finds herself at her grandparents' house. They were her biological father's parents, which she always thought was weird. Why would her adoptive parents send her to her biological grandparents? Why do they want anything to do with her after all these years?
