Love Me Not - A Harry Potter Fan Fic

Warm blood slid down her cheek as she stumbled towards Garrett. Her whole body was numb, and she curled up next to him, desperately trying to keep him warm. She wrapped her arm around him and felt blood seeping through his shirt. She began sobbing, warm tears falling down her face. She couldn't breathe or speak. She barely felt Garrett bring his freezing hand up to her face, wiping away the tears. "Shhhh..." he said. "If we're going to die here, we'll die together." She tried to quiet her sobs and laid her head on is chest, ready to give in to the overwhelming pain, when she heard a loud crack behind her.
