" I'm sorta busy, " He spits, starting to walk away. I grab onto his arm again and he angrily turns around, throwing his arms in the air. " I have to go! Leave me the hell alone. You can get a picture later, " He shouts. The anger in his tone was apparent and his teeth were clenched together. I almost whimper, when he freezes. He was acting ridiculous. The sad thing was that this has been happening a lot. Everything was fine and then he started having sudden mood swings and then comes along him being rude to fans. ' Harry styles rude to fans ' made the cover of every newspaper and magazine in the world. He was screwed. He later earned respect back from people, when the whole thing blew over. I could tell he was relieved to say the least, but his ego has gotten bigger and bigger, just as his popularity grew; One directions popularity. " You sound familiar, " He whispers, gripping the bottle of scotch. I was scared it might break. " Do I know you? " He ask. I nod my head to myself, but don't say anything. He didn't need to know. I didn't want him to know. I hated that he was acting like this. The Harry I knew would never do this. I could feel a tear fall down my cheek and I turn to walk away. The air smells odd and the blinking lights twinkle in the distant. I keep walking even when I hear his voice calling for me. " Wait! Come back! " He yells. I keep walking.

NIALL: What in the world just happened? I choked at seeing this girl? And did a spit take when I actually got a good look at her? What the hell is wrong with me? LOUIS: I turn around because I'm sure that would have made Summer laugh. But she remains silent. Her hands are still doing something with my phone and the stereo. Her face is blank looking at Niall with her eyes slightly squinted. That's weird. Summer has laughed almost every time one of us does something funny. ZAYN: "But you're One Direction." I hear her mumble. She sighs. "And that matters because?" She doesn't need to be so insecure around us. She just needs to be herself. I know that's what Niall likes. She turns around, giving me a look and with her hands on her hips. "Do I need to explain it to you?" She says sassily. Then she giggles turning back around. HARRY: "Where do you want to go?" The way her American accent blends in with her awkwardness and sassiness is attractive. And it's also funny because Niall hasn't taken his eyes off her the whole time. Mission accepted. Niall and Summer. LIAM: I look at him with a smirk on my face. He furrows his eyebrows at me. "What?" "Summer will be here soon and with all of us busy with our interviews. I thought Niall could occupy her." Zayn squints his eyes at me and comes right up in my face. "What?" I back up laughing a bit. He backs off. "You're quite the mastermind." He gives me a nod of approval. SUMMER: Man, how are we living in a world where a normal teenage girl can't fangirl anytime and anywhere? This sucks. Please forgive the minor bad fanfic moments, such as where they meet, falling in love in a short period of time, and a couple of small character cliches.

A few snippets so far: I felt naked in front of him. He's stripped me bare, pulled back my flesh, cracked open my rib cage to literally have my heart in his hands. He has the power to finish me off with one forceful squeeze or help hold all the pieces together while I work on mending and healing it. **** I take this time to breathe in the stale peacefulness of the room and wait for my body to properly wake up to get started with another day. My thoughts are soon abruptly stopped when I hear heavy breathing next to me, then I can feel the rise and fall of someone's chest and the heaviness of something wrapped around my torso. The imaginary glue in my eyes disappears as they open in a flash. To my utter disbelief and confusion, I find Harry sleeping...in my bed...with me. What, when how...what in the world is happening?! My internal panic worsens when I realize if he's here he saw the broken glass and blood in the room. FUCKING HELL! "Don't freak out, don't freak out," I talk out loud to myself but it's not fucking working. **** Last fucking chance to tell me I'm wrong and you're not hoeing around then sleep in my bed!" I say as harshly as I can. She doesn't say anything, doesn't even bat an eye at what I said. I pick up her phone on my nightstand and throw it at the closed door and watch her body tense up in anger. Her fists are white from how tightly she is clamping her fingers in her palm and her jaw is clenched. "You said it yourself, we're just friends. Friends don't act jealous like this," she quietly speaks. "I am not jealous; I couldn't give a fuck less. Have nothing to be jealous of." She takes a step back like I hit her, I can see her shattering right in front of me. "You know your way out. Get the fuck out of my apartment now," she walks over to grab her phone that bounced off the wall and walks out, she stops before she closes the door all the way.

He scoffs, no humor in it. "You don't. Trust me." Silence stretches between us. Then he steps forward, close enough that I can see the way his hands won't stop shaking. "You already know too much," he says, voice low. "More than you ever should've." I don't look away. "Then tell me the rest." He shakes his head. "It's not your place. You don't get to ask." "But I am asking." He exhales sharply. "Jesus, Lily. This isn't a story with a clean ending. I'm not a mystery. I'm a goddamn warning sign. I'm dangerous." I flinch, but I don't move. And that pisses him off more. He takes a step back like he's going to leave, then pauses. His eyes flick to my jacket. In one quick motion, he reaches in and pulls out the burner phone. "I think this belongs to me," he says, tone sharp but quiet. No accusation. Just fact. I don't respond. Just watch as he slips it into his pocket, like closing a door I wasn't supposed to open. He looks at me for one long second, jaw clenched. "Go home," he says again, this time like a warning. And this time, I believe him. He crushes the cigarette under his boot, turns his back, and walks down the alley, leaving me standing in the dark. - Lily didn't ask to be assigned to him. Harry Styles is a name whispered like a warning, famous for his ink, infamous for everything else. Brooding. Untouchable. But Lily has a habit of looking too closely. And when she finds something she shouldn't, the line between curiosity and consequence begins to blur. He told her to stay away.
