Scarlett Gilbert. Heard of her? I don't think so. No one talks about her. No one even knows she exists. At the age of nineteen she was taken from the family. Before that, she was the best sister there could be and the best daughter she could have been. But, she wasn't completely gone. In fact she was stuck inside a prison world.
A few years after she dies, she gets an unexpected visit. Two people find themselves inside the prison world trapped just like Scarlett.
Maybe this is the way to freedom. Maybe she can finally leave this prison world and get back to the real world.
But then again, she's been dead for a while. Who's to say the real world is better? Maybe it might be worse. Maybe she should have just stayed dead.

(Currently being rewritten) There was nothing more frustrating than being the best friend of the one of only Damon Salvatore. Finley Maddox had the sometimes-unfortunate role of being said best friend. She and Damon had been best friends since he and his brother were human. Things, however, don't always last long. Fin felt awful for leaving when she did but had done it with the right intentions. She knew it needed to be done, if not for the possibility of the town questioning her inability to age, then for knowing that she couldn't allow herself to get attached. Knowing she had to go eventually before people got suspicious, later finding out her best friend and his brother had been turned in vampires by the one and only Katherine Pierce 90% of the time, things were somewhat normal and for the two, even normal was bizarre. But Fin managed to keep her wits intact while also protecting one of the few she actually cared about. Things got harder when Damon and his brother Stefan moved back to Mystic Falls; Stefan wanting to have a bit of normality in his life and Damon, in search of who he thought to be the woman he loved. Safe to say, that although Fin stayed where she lived while Damon went to Mystic Falls, it wasn't long before Damon called her and asked for her to come help him.
