Jaden is a teenage boy with family issues. When his mom drops him off in a middle of nowhere town in Kentucky, he thinks his life just can't get any worse. Then he finds a ring that transports him to a fairy tale land. The worst thing? He doesn't believe in magic.

Ariana is a young girl who no matter what she goes through in life, has always believed in magic. So, when she sees Jaden going into a magical world, what's the natural thing for her to do? She follows of course!

When they get there, the world seems perfect. With bright sunshine, flowers, and fairies, Ariana doesn't see how it could get any better. But all is not as it seems. A darkness has been shrouding the kingdom for years. A darkness that only Jaden can defeat. But how can he if he doesn't even believe in the magic he needs to possess to defeat the evil?
