Alyson and Eric were good friends when he was in Erudite, and Alyson always looked up to him. When he left, her world was crushed, and so was his.
5 years later Alyson finally turns 16 and is able to take her test and join Dauntless. Excited to see Eric again, she picks Dauntless, regardless of her results. Only problem, Eric doesn't remember Alyson. At this point, Alyson must make Eric remember her and still hold her spot in Dauntless without going factionless, unless that's her option.

What happens when she gets to Dauntless and sees her childhood friend that transferred a year before her, and she has feelings for? Eric Lets Go
Dauntless has created an image for Eric after an incident during his initiation and no one knows the real him nor do they want to know the real him. When it is time for new initiates, he has to overlook their training as part of his leader training. When an Amity transfer gets a little too close to Eric, she wants to know who he really is, NOT the ruthless leader image he projects to be. Eric doesn't know how to react because no one has ever tried to get close to him before so how should he react? Will he react in a good or bad way? Does she despise the real Eric or will she help him let go of the past and love the real him? All rights/ credits go to Veronica Roth.
