Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it. What came out of that door wasn't supposed to shock him, he was praying for it to be something different. He believed that he couldn't live without his beloved princess. If the tiger took his life, it would be a merciful death. One that would cause him great anguish, but would be worth the five minutes of pain. Over a lifetime with a woman whom he couldn't love. Watching his one true love have children and grow old without him would hurt more than anything the tiger could possible do. Months before this event, he and his love had talked about this. They both knew this would happen but continued to be together, he had begged her to tell him which one the tiger was in so that he wouldn't have to be forced to love someone else. When the poor soul reached the right door, he just stood there. He stared at the nob for what felt like hours, when in reality it was only seconds. The gold door nob stared back at him, and taunted him, which made him angry because no matter what was behind that door he was going to kill it. He would be with the princess even if he had to kill every last man, women, child, and living creature in this courtroom just to hold her in his arms again. The boy yanked the door open with such force that the Kings eyebrows shot up to the sky. The king must have been wondering what made the boy act upon his emotions so strongly. He had known that the boy was brave but didn't think that bravery was going to last against a tiger. But the thing that shocked him the most was that the boy ripped open the door without knowing what was really in there. The king smirked at the boy's stupidity, he knew that the boy was going to try to fight the tiger, but he hadn't known what the boy planned to if he had opened the door with the girl behind it.All Rights Reserved
