I lost him, but he found her.
He looked intently into my eyes as I watched him drowning into obliviousness where he felt helpless; he was in the middle of nowhere but she managed to find him. I've once thought that my heart has emptied, but a variety of emotions filled these chambers that prompted for my tears to form as I beheld my eyes at the sight of how she healed his wounds from a distance.

(THE ONES WE LOSE ALONG THE WAY SERIES #1) Started: 04/29/25 Ended: ---- SYNOPSIS: As the afternoon haze touched my senses, my thoughts were drowned by the presence of the person beside me, who had an arrogant grin plastered on his lips. The cold breeze blew through his hair gracefully, emphasizing his perfectly sculpted face which I adored most. His eyes held a glimmer of something indescribable, as if he were the happiest man in the world at that moment. He laughed-which made something tug within the deepest parts of my heart... And when he looked me straight in the eye, my demons instantly vanished, and the rhythm of my soul calmed. - While gazing at the various hues painted across the afternoon sky, I grinned as I recalled a memory from the past-a childhood souvenir deeply engraved in my soul, a priceless and golden treasure to be preserved and remembered in the heart. I chuckled when I realized that treasure was already by my side, sulking. Wearing a deep frown and pouting her lips endearingly, my smile grew wider as I heard her grumbling. And when I glanced at her, the raging storm within me tranquilized, and I was finally at home.

I promised myself that i won't be tame by anyone, not until he came. Not until i met Blaze Jaexian Dixon. I thought I was careful enough to keep those walls. I thought I build them strong enough to not let anyone destroy it...but I'm wrong. That's what I only thought because I didn't even realized that from the first time that I saw him, leaning on the wall of his room, with his messy hair and lazy eyes, he already caught my interest. As I get to know him, my heart slowly softens. He made me realized how it feels to be understood. How it feels to be taken care of. How it feels to have a shoulder to lean on. How it feels to have someone who will willingly wipe your tears. He listened and never judge me. He made me smile, he made me laugh, he guided me. He listened to my dramas, he knows my past but he...never judge me. He slowly enters my heart and before I could even realized, he was already sitting there comfortably.
