Katrina Kyle left the life of Catgirl behind a long time ago and had no intention of going back. It isn't until the life of her mother is threatened that she suits up again.
Her mission isn't to steal a precious jewel or a priceless artifact: it is to find the identity of the infamous Red Hood, a vigilante who kills off thugs and criminals alike.
Katrina starts to develope feelings for the Red Hood as well as a mysterious bad boy, Jason Todd. She will have to choose between the two of them (or so she believes) as well as choose between the life of her mother or to save the secret identity of the Red Hood.

Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage.
