Laurelle Davis sits on her single bed, in her mostly bare room, of her flatshare, smiling to herself. A young woman overcome with a sense of pride, and achievement at her newly attained independence. At 22 she is now free from the guarded clutches of her parent's wings. It is not long though before she bumps into Kaleb, a South London charmer with money, and an air of danger and excitement, who shakes her very world once he steps into it, in more ways than she could ever fathom, or prepare for.
