No one knows where the Dark Ones came from, or what they are. All that was known is that they were extremely deadly, powerful, and worst of all: they were here.
Alexandra is a 19-year old girl who is considered different. While other girls searched for husbands to take care of them, Alex learned how to take down a knight from yards away with only a single arrow. While other girls started families and cleaned their homes, Alex mastered in weaponry.
Obviously, Alex has other things on her mind. Alex is determined to help her king regain his lost kingdom, even if it means dying in the process.
She was prepared for a gruesome battle, but she certainly wasn't prepared for magic, a centuries-old curse, a knight who sees her for who she really is, and pair of mischievous (and hungry) twin knights.
