Abigail Greenly and her family live in the small town of Rochester, outside of Boston. Her father, a self-made man of industry, made his small fortune in the lumber business with his brother until a fatal accident left him crippled. Their stories are different, their secrets their own, and their ambitions drive what they stand for; freedom, loyalty, compassion, and in some cases, redemption. Upon meeting Aaron Reece and his sister Lea, Bryna's just glad to help out any more fellow Escapees. But in a world without rules and black and white society, escaping to safety isn't as easy as it seems.
