Once upon a time, I wrote an extremely unserious piece of emo fanfiction about two boys from my town who were absolutely not over each other.

They were young, reckless, and convinced everything would hurt forever.

They never talked about that night.
They just carried it with them.

Years after a messy teenage almost-something, John and Andrew are pulled back into each other's orbit by memory, anonymity, and unfinished business. What started as confusion, tension, and silence becomes something harder to ignore when the past refuses to stay quiet.

John and Andrew aren't enemies anymore. They aren't lovers either. But some things don't stay dead just because you stop talking about them.

Since desperate times calls for desperate measures, she ends up giving the job to a total stranger. And inevitably falls in love with him but things aren't that easy. Good things are never easy.
