The demons lie beneath my bed
Remember that they've seen you weep.
Once I saw the fire leap
But now all that gleamed is dead

And nothing ever seemed so bleak
I took the needle and the thread

Back when we'd slither and we'd sneak
But still the splinter dripped of red
I thought I heard the floorboards creak.
Now walls are white and I must shriek
With dust and debris I claw and shred
Remember that they've seen you weep.
I think that I am getting weak
Maybe I'll just sleep instead

Hospital For Souls
My mind keeps going everywhere... I hear stuff in my head, I see the room spinning as I start to get up from my bed. All gray or faded colors spread across it. Blood on my walls, very weird how they haven't gave me a different room. I look around and I see my door open and a guy covered in tattoos at the door step. "Let them sing" he said in a raspy voice. "I'll try..." I respond, but as I blink he has disappeared and my door is closed. I look at the window as I notice it's covered in bars. Outside is my fear, my fear of being seen. As I look far in the woods I see him again. He moved his lips as I read them. He said something like 'wait for me, and I'll see you' I think. That was what I last remembered before I blacked out.Complete

The Light in the Dark (Completed)

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. The Contract
Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." Pain Reconciled by Love
This book is published on amazon.com. I put it on here for Wattpadders to read for free! Have you ever felt so much emotional pain that you just wanted to end it all? Have you ever felt so much physical pain that you thought death was nearer than you had hoped for? Maybe you have felt one, but not both, or maybe you have felt both. These poems were written for those who have felt pain like no other. You may be your own worst enemy, but you are also your own best friend. Sometimes, no one is there to help you get up off that floor, so it is up to you to help your own self. Once you find that you can take care of yourself, you can take care of and love others. Humans need love to survive. If we didn't have love, we'd all be robots and simply not human. The love doesn't have to be from a significant other. Maybe it's from a best friend or close family member? Just know that we are all in this game of life together. So, let's live it with love. I had entered the deepest depths of pain and agony. I had given up on my life. I tried to end my life, and I would have been successful. Three people saved me that day, at the end of 2017. First, was myself. I had to come to terms with who I was and turn it all back around. I had to lean on my Creator, who was my second life saver. Jesus came to my aid and saved my life after I tried to take it. The third person who saved me was my husband. Before we met I would have died, but he needed me just like I needed him. I am alive for him, for my two sons, for myself, and for my Heavenly Father. "I couldn't make it stop, Until I met my rock. So, here are my words of wisdom, "Pain reconciled by love" is my rhythm." There is hope. There is a purpose to this life. Pain Reconciled by Love is full of heartache, but also full of beauty. I'm still alive because there is something for me out there. I hope this is the beginning to something beautiful. The Prisoner
Every sudden movement sent my heart racing, my body coiled to either flee or fight. The shadows held demons from my nightmares, and every creak of the floor was a harbinger of doom. The whispers of the wind outside seemed to echo the hiss of my captor's breath in my ear, and the distant wail of a siren was the howl of the Fiery Claws coming for me. I had become a creature of the dark, my soul scarred by the horrors I had witnessed and endured.
