Reckless Abandon: (noun) idiomatic English, roughly meaning "without care or regard for consequences" Emerson Bellisario was just another one of the rich students at West Calabria Doubleday boarding school in picturesque east London. She was always marked as a bit of a "rebel", with insane partys weekly and multiple detentions to show for it. Yet, she was always missing something. Aside from the crazy nights and reckless behavior, she needed something new; and that something soon came in a very unexpected way, in the form of a curly haired boy with tattoos and an attitude even bigger than Emerson's. He seeks out her buried innocence and scares her senseless- but not that she'd ever admit it.

Prologue In the world of college life, words are often thrown around like confetti-light, colorful, and sometimes lacking substance. They say things to fill the silence, to create connections, and to express feelings that often remain hidden beneath the surface. But what happens when those words fall flat? When the promises made in fleeting moments fade into echoes of unfulfilled intentions? This is a story about the complexities of communication and the silent battles fought within relationships. It began with a simple smile exchanged in the midst of chaos during National Pharmacy Week-a moment that seemed inconsequential yet held the weight of possibilities. She found herself drawn to him, captivated by the way he spoke, the way he made her feel. But as she discovered, words alone would not be enough to bridge the gap between us. As their paths intertwined, we danced around each other in a series of unsaid feelings, lingering glances, and an unspoken connection that left her yearning for more. But with every promise unkept, the reality became clearer: words are just that-words. They mean little without the actions to back them up. This is the story of Elle's journey through that realization, a tale of fleeting moments, unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately, the power of choosing clarity over confusion. It's about learning that love is not just spoken; it's demonstrated. And in the end, it was a lesson that would change everything she thought she knew about relationships and herself.
