Broken and Alone

"I'm broken. It's not like I'm simply torn into two pieces that you can fix with a band aid or a piece of tape. I'm shattered. It's no use trying to save me, you will always fail. I'm not falling so you can't try to catch me. I was falling a long time ago and I was falling until I'd hit the ground. I've been broken forever and nothing and no one can change that, so save yourself some time by finding someone else to fix. Someone that is fixable because I can't be fixed."

"You never know until you try," he said with an annoying smirk on his face but I could see a familiar look in his eyes. It's what I see every time I look in the mirror. No matter how hard he tried to cover it up, I saw the sadness.
