Every since Dan could remember, he has felt like he was watched. Not in a bad way, more like he had a guardian angel watching him or something. Making him feel safe and protecting him from danger all his life. 

Phil is an angel. Like, wings, halo, the whole shebang, angel. And he's Dan's guardian angel. Watching him his whole life, making sure he was safe. But now, Phil is asked to now to descend onto the Earth and befriend the teen, to essentially be reborn into a mortal body with all his angelic powers. 

And this is how all of the problems start.
