It's 200 years after the book Turned, 2016, and Whittaker and Cole are happy where they are. They have good parents and enjoy the comfy house where they live. But what happens when that all gets ripped away? No one could have known that everything would change so quickly for them. They may not be normal humans, but they never expected that only one day could change their lives so much. Normal dreams fade away... Replaced with a new harsh view of reality... The only thing Whittaker becomes certain of is that she must protect her little brother at all costs.
(To all you Turned fans, I know this doesn't have Kate as the main character, but she is still in this book! This book is centered around Whittaker and Cole, not Kate. It is desinged so that you can read Crowned without reading Turned first. Give it a try?)
{And for all you new readers, I still recommend reading Turned first! It is not needed, but this is Turned's sequel after all.}
